DDOT is developing innovative new bike infrastructure in the greater downtown area. Because of the high demand for curb space, large numbers of buses, and heavy loading, DDOT has looked to other cities such as New York and Montreal for designs to both protect cyclists and accommodate downtown activity. We need cyclist to turn out to support these efforts and help ensure a good design for the facilities.

Want to use your bike to get where you need to go? Learn to safely share the road with cars, other bikes, and pedestrians. Most of these classes are currently sponsored by city Departments of Transportation and are provided free of charge (except for Learn to Ride). All classes are taught by League of American Bicyclist Cycling Instructors (LCI). Learn More>>
