Where Can I Ride That Day?

With so many road and bridge closures in Washington, DC the best way to get around the city will be by bike. Seeing as how it can be hard to visualize where you can bike by looking at a long list of street closures we have created a GoogleMap to help you plan your day. Additionally, we have compiled a few suggested bike routes for folks who may not be used to biking into Washington, DC from Maryland or Virginia.

Please note this map is subject to change and will be modified up until the inaugural event to provide the public with the most accurate information possible regarding bicycling in DC on January 20th.

Are the bridges open to cyclists?

To our knowledge, ALL BRIDGES WILL BE OPEN TO CYCLISTS.  The Memorial Bridge has been designated for bikes and pedestrians only, but the sidewalks on all other bridges will be open to cyclists and pedestrians.
