2009 Gala and auction-- Registration now open!!
SAVE THE DATE!! WABA’s 2009 Gala and Benefit Auction will take place once again at the wonderful German Embassy Saturday, March 21 from 5:30-11:00pm. Located on the western edge of Georgetown, it is situated with the Ambassador's Residence and the old residence at the corner of Foxhall and Resevoir Roads.
Auction offerings include fine dining, cycling equipment, exclusive getaways, and one-of-a-kind artwork. All proceeds from the auction will benefit WABA's advocacy, safety and education programs throughout the year.
At this year's event, WABA will have the wonderful opportunity to honor and recognize Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) for his outstanding contributions and advocacy efforts towards bicycling as a national priority. Learn more about Congressman Blumenauer >>

Registration
Registration is now open! Get your tickets now as capacity is limited and tickets will sell quickly!
Ticket prices are $80 for current WABA members
$115 for non-members
(ticket price includes 1 yr WABA membership)
Couple ticket options are also available!
Please remember Govt. issued Photo ID is required to enter the German Embassy.

WABA will once again be hosting an online auction this year to increase the reach of our fundraising efforts! Until then, you can preview items that will be featured during our live event

Public Transit
Metrobus routes with stops on Reservoir Road: D3 and D6.
These buses connect with Metrorail at the Farragut North and Farragut West stations. There is no Metrorail station within easy walking distance of the Embassy.
Pedicab
Why not take a pedicab to the Embassy? Capitol Pedicabs will be offering a 25% discount to guests traveling to the German Embassy for the event.
The Washington Area Bicyclist Association ("WABA") is a 501c3 organization and all donations to the auction are tax-deductable.
