Bicycling Advocates Happy Hour in Rockville, July 26

WABA invites you to join us for a Montgomery County Bicycling Advocates Happy Hour, Wednesday afternoon, July 26, 5 pm-7 pm at World of Beer in Rockville.

If you like communing with the bicyclist community, this event is for you. It’s free and informal, and we’ll be joined by special guests Delegate Julie Palakovich Carr and Montgomery County Councilmember Laurie-Anne Sayles, plus we’re inviting Rockville mayoral and council candidates for informal networking. Please come by at any point – it’s buy your own beverage – and stay for as much of the time as you wish. 

Come chat, meet other community members, and share your thoughts on making our region safer and easier to bicycle. Around 6:00 pm, we’ll hear from Julie and Laurie-Anne, and we’ll talk about efforts to improve county bikeways and give attendees a chance to share what you’re up to – group rides, clubs, advocacy, or other opportunities.
