Student Cyclist Advocacy Network



SCAN-DC is grassroots outreach initiative for the purpose of uniting and energizing the student bodies of the various colleges and universities in the District and in the greater metropolitan area to promote bicycle advocacy.  SCAN is open to both individual students and student groups who are interested advocating bicycle usage on their individual college campuses and within the community at large.

Trails

The DC Area's extensive network of scenic bike paths are great for getting a workout or just getting to work. WABA is proud to have helped to make many of the paths in this ever-expanding network a reality. Bike Shops

These shops are the backbone of the cycling community. As a WABA member, you receive discounts at most of the area's bike shops. Locally owned and locally operated, they are the best retail option for biking in the Washington Area-and, they support the bicycling community with donations and event sponsorship. go>>
