On November 3rd, 2011, the Washington Area Bicyclist Association hosted the Regional Call to Action Summit at the Waterview Confrence Center in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, VA. The one-day summit brought together over 50 regional and local advocates, city planners, transportation planners, buisness leaders, WABA members and other stakeholders for a series of presentations and panels. WABA released the Regional Call to Action plan outlining the next 5 years of regional bicycle advocacy. The summit was the culmination of a series of local meeting in the six jurisidcations WABA represents including Alexandria, Arlington, the District of Columbia, Fairfax Co., Montgomery Co., and Prince George's Co.
